Default Unique Thrid Brake Light

Found this overlay for your third brake light. I have a spoiler with a brake light and found that the brakelight in the rear window is just really bright when on with the spoiler light. Some people were even trying to take it off or black it out. Found perfect solution. It looks great at night too. Let me know if you want to contact the maker. He takes paypal and has some auctions on Ebay. If you don't find it for your model, you can let me know and I will give you his email to inquire.

I agree 100% with this. Not a mod that's worth it, considering how many idiots are out there not paying attention as it is.

Not sure, I don't think I would do it if I did not have a spoiler with brake light already. It does still give out a lot of red light at night though.

looks nice, but not my cup of tea. Seen these a lot on Acuras and Hondas here. I know here in VA you wont pass inspection and its illegal. anything obstructing the third brake light is, if I'm correct.

If you had the spoiler with a brake light...that could be the third brake light. So with the two bumper brake lights, spoiler brake light, and the brake light in the rear window...makes it 4.

Not sure if this is illegal in my state, but haven't been stopped yet. IMO the view from behind my car, and when the brakes are pressed, the spoiler and the rear window brake is too bright. again IMO!

I think I'll order mine to read something like 'STOP FOOL' instead of 'Lexus'.

Nah, I wouldn't get that... looks terrible. Just black it out if you have both 3rd brakelights. Several good threads here showing how to do that. Or you can replace the whole back deck like I ended up doing.

or simply remove the 3rd brake light from the deck if you have a spoiler w/brake light.

interesting mod...

unfortunately, looks like the trunk spoiler and its LED brake light may block the view of this mod from vehicles behind you (unless its an SUV).
