Good morning, Im new to this site. I need help with replacing the map dvd on my 2011 is350c. I removed the cover and I cannot figure out how to eject the map dvd. I looked in google and I only find instructions for a 2008. pressed every button I see and nothing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Have a great day.

Lexus switched to hard drive based navigation in the IS sedan in 2009. I'm almost certain that by 2011 the convertible was hard drive based as well. For HDD based cars, map updates are installed by your Lexus dealer from a computer with the maps and special software (not Techstream) and a USB thumb drive containing a license key.

 

Thanks. My system does not have a menú button like in the video. I think it does not have a dvd ás another gentleman pointed out.

Your car comes with HDDbase so you won't have any DVD MAP.
