Cool Car: It's too hot outside to chirp

Silly car. Of all things, the lock alarm audible tone has diminished to nonexistent as the temps breach 85F... Cold all is fine, but add in the underhood temps and >80F and she barely chirps at all.

Anyone fixed this? Could it be as simple as the little horn they used failing or is it electronics and module gone T's up?
Car's a 2013 but (should/Used to) sound like every other Yota/Lexus during alarm set until this springs rising temps. Like 88F is Hot! lol
Thanks in advance..

I took it the car wash and gave it a cold bath. Chirps fine after. (Florida)

Here's a link showing where it's mounted. If you want to inspect your unit for damage.

Thanks Mike!
So on a hot day I need to yank the fender liner and shoot chirpy with cold spray and see if it comes to life.

OR - unplug it! I'm like, what did you do or Not do?

My 2012 IS250 has started to do this. I walk away thinking my car is unlocked or it didn’t go through. @2013FSport did you end replacing the part and it was normal again?

I did nothing for that issue and when warm outside (85°F +) it still peter's out. That said, adding the Diode Dynamics SmartTap CF18 Fasher Relay let's you know all is well. When the alarm is set it blinks twice and holds all turn indicators on for 45 seconds allowing a visual confirmation. The one tap 4 blinks is nice. I'll likely add this to the newest edition too.

It's the young ones born later in life that have trouble communicating!

Thanks for that suggestion. I might get that and see how it works. It's frustrating that it happens when it gets hot. I never had a car do this before. My 2001 is300 didn't for sure.
