Random Chime/Alarm Sound
I have a random chime/alarm sound coming from my garage that I haven't yet been able to track down. It is 3-5 different tones and only chimes/alarms one time (it is NOT a single tone beeping repeatedly). This occurs infrequently (maybe once a day) and at various times a day (so it is not a misplaced alarm clock). I typically hear this when no one has been in the garage and the car has not been recently driven. I originally thought it might be the garage upright freezer; however today I had just gotten home from the store, I was getting items from the hatch and I heard the alarm. Given the loudness, it seemed more likely it was coming from the car and not the freezer. Because I had just driven the car the blows my theory that the sound could be related to the car sitting for an extended period. I'm really at a loss as to the cause!

It is much easier to move the vehicle out of the garage instead of moving every thing out of the garage.

I had a strange beep coming from the kitchen late at night. Turns out it was the dog's tail hitting the battery-powered floor scale in the corner. : )
