Default 06 IS Cluster Re-calibration HELP!!

So I recently fixed the dead led's in my cluster needles but I noticed same day that after I set the needles back to correct spots, after the car sitting completely off for about 10 mins, all 4 needles are way off readings now. Does anyone know how to re-calibrate them? I've been trying to figure this out but no luck, every time I try something new, all the needles just get all messed up.

Jus a pic of the look after

You pull the needles off the shaft?
Never had one apart so I don't know the details.

It could be as simple as cluster up right while needles installed vs cluster on its back...

I don't recall others having an issue but who knows what process they used.

Do they span the proper distance going past their normal margins? You didnt mess with anything but the leds on pcba, right? No other changes?

Contact Tanin Auto Electronix

They are a vendor here repairing odometers. Maybe they can help you. They have a video on YouTube showing how to calibrate the Audi needles.

WhiteBeast was a huge help and full of great info, in the end, it was that when I either pulled or put the needles that I overclocked them by accident. So I had to turn them all the way clockwise (even a full revolution) until it was tough to turn and then turn back until in the right spots that whitebeast referenced me to and now its good.

Thanks a Bunch CL!
