Default 07 250 leak

Came home today and noticed a decent size puddle. The fluid is yellow. From my googling believe it's power steering. But not 100% sure. Any info would be helpful. Also is it safe to drive for a day or so, till I can get it in the shop

Isn't that the brake line?

Brake line. Check your brake fluid reservoir to see how low it is. Depending how bad it is, they will fail on you eventually if the lines run dry. You don't want brake fluid on your paint either.

edit: on second look. also take a look at your strut. Those leak too, but it really looks like the brake line is the problem.

Your car has electric power steering.

Drive carefully! That line could completely fail at any time and cause all sorts of harm to you and others around you.

Well got the dreaded phone call. Wasn't the break line the strut is shot. So not a cheap repair

Odd that the leak pattern specifically leaked down onto the braking hard line connection there.

Anyhow, how did they/you recommend the shock to be fixed/replaced?

Did you have them just replace the one, or BOTH front shocks? It's usually recommended to replace both, just like tires.
