Default Check Engine after Alternator Replacement

Hey everyone - I had my alternator replaced today and as soon as I started the car my check engine and VSC Off lights lit up. I have a code reader but it doesn't seem to notice when it is connected to my car. I went to Autozone and the tech had a similar experience with their code reader. The car feels fine to drive, although it may be idling a bit lower than usual. I also noticed that the headlights weren't adjusting side to side when I was cornering.

Any idea what could be going on? I will be taking the car back to the service place tomorrow but I was curious if anyone here has been in this situation before?
