I own a 2006 IS220D
Installed the latest 2016/2017 maps into the touch screen sat nav.

But I can not enter destinations on the move, nor can I dial a number on my phone via bluetooth if the cars rolling.

Is there any way to unplug something somewhere to prevent this ?

no, it is a safety feature.


If you want to get rid of that, you'll need to find an aftermarket plug thing (forgot what they're called) that tricks the computer. Kinda like a false sensor.

I highly recommended adding a switch to it so you could turn it back to normal when you don't need it.
