Default New guy looking for advice ...

Hi guys I'm new to the forum and I'm in search of an IS . I wanted a 350 but they are so hard to come by here in Florida plus I'm picky when it comes to use cars and their condition . With that said I found a 2012 250 tungsten pearl with 71000 on the clock for 17k after fees and all. It has navigation and Carfax report looks good except for a cosmetic incident. Interior is great and the car is well taken care of. Is that a good buy guys ? Thanks for the input .

If I were you I'd avoid a newer salvage title car for no reason other than it will lose a ridiculous amount of value very quickly. I've seen salvage title 2012 IS350s with under 40k miles easily going for under $19k. This is assuming the car has a salvage title, of course. My advice is to just be a bit more patient and find a 350. The extra 100hp is definitely 100% worth it and the used prices between the 250 and 350 aren't too different.

Good luck!

Honestly, I would pick up an older IS350 which can be had for a lot less, and is a lot more fun to drive. It's a win-win. I waited almost a year to find a 350 at the price point I was willing to pay.

Congrats on the new ride. FYI, those chrome center window pillars aren't factory. There supposed to be gloss black. I believe the previous owner slapped those on. Take em off, their just covers.

Thanks guys I'm really happy with the car, it's my first lexus. Down the road I'll get that gs350 f sport .

I want sure if those aluminum pillars were OEM or not because it had etched at the bottom and it look legit lol.

Will be installing a catch can soon, want a nice but not expensive one.

Congrats on the new car! Glad you at least got the one with most of the styling refreshes as it definitely looks much better than my 07.
