Above is my previous post and issues with this car. Long story short, my wife and I ended up with a severely abused IS250 from a family member. The nav screen among other things was punched. We sent the nav unit (not the radio) off to a shop in Cali to get repaired and it worked when we got it back. We then took the car to the shop to get the body damage fixed and once we got it back noticed the radio would almost never work. The navigation part always works with no issues. When the radio isn't working the lights on the bottom part (radio) don't even turn on which makes me think it could be a power/ground issue. Also, hitting the power button or choosing a source on the touch screen doesn't do anything, it always says power off or something along those lines. I took it back to the body shop in October and he sent it to a radio guy who said the amp was dead. We had the car parked from around October to the beginning of February. When I started the car in February the radio turned on. I made around 8 trips in it with no issues. Then it stopped working again and hasn't turned back on for the past 5 trips or so.
Any guesses on what it could be or suggestions to troubleshoot?
I've already paid to fix the screen, but if I have to, I've seen entire Nav/radio units on eBay for somewhat reasonable prices. Does anyone know if they are plug and play or need to be programmed?
Thanks!

Reason: added stuff
From your original video in the above link, I don't see a shark fin antenna on the rear roof area. Don't all 2007+ model have one as the radio antenna?

It's there, the video never had a good angle of it is all.
Your radio is damaged and neeed to be repaired or replaced. Look for another radio and drop it in. Problem fixed
First off, thanks for helping me last time as well. Just to clarify, you are saying the bottom part of the unit (this?) is most likely bad, correct? It's plug and play and wouldn't need programming?
