So my ait ( ebay) rep CF rear canards came in this morning. I mocked them up and the canards are hitting my exhaust. I have a tsudo axleback , so the canisters are wider than the OEM mufflers. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I know I will have to trim them but I also dont have a warm fuzzy feeling about having them firmly secured. I imagine them kind of just flopping around at high speeds. Does anyone have any tips on mounting these pieces? The canards themselves look great. Ill post some pics

I called IAT and spoke with a man beofre I bought them who thought this bracket was part of the factory bumper . I think I have to cut that entire " bump" off lol. My canisters are pretty big! Any help fellas will be much appreciated!
Thanks a bunch giantsfan. Your car looks sick. I was thinking that I would have to do the same thing. Do yours move around while driving? I want them to be firmly mounted.
I attached the bracket to the screw right behind the wheel then drilled a hole thru the bracket and canard and bolted to the bracket. The the back just bolted right to my lip. Hope that helps.

I can't tell if it moves
I assume it doesn't! Its pretty snug. Just use a big washer
Guys: thanks so much for the help. And islv350 , thanks for the under shots. You had to cut the hell out of yours as well. Makes me feel better. And the big washer is a great idea. Hopefully have time to bolt them on this weekend. Ill post pics once complete.
This is where I stand as of now. I made a template because when I mocked them up they were hitting my exhaust. I have an aftermarket exhaust so it actually hit pretty bad. If you look closely , you can kinda see some dimples on the canard. I think this is where the holes were on the original "authintic " ones. I am going to bolt the front part with a large washer on the bottom just as described below. Run auto 3M tape along the bumper and the canard. But I dont really know how i want to bokt the back part yet. I know that I do not want it floating around back there! Lol
