Default Help with new car (Headlights)

hi guys, I just bought a 2012 lexus is 250 a couple days ago and I love it, everything about it is awesome. I just had a couple questions maybe someone has asked already and there is a thread but anyways ... (my car knowledge sucks)

my car has DRLs but not the kind of bulbs I want to have, I want to change to LEDs (I think its called LEDs) I really like the ones that look like a line or dots.
is this difficult and could it void my warranty ?

the second thing is I was wondering how hard it is to switch the model of the tail lights from 2012 to 2013+ ? I'm not as interested in this as the headlights I was just wondering

Look here for headlights:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...eadlights.html

2011 through 2013 ISX50 have the same swoosh taillights. Like the attached.

Your taillights are the most current version unless you go with aftermarket to replicate the light bar look of the new IS models. There are a few different versions.. Here's a review of a couple

I'm not sure what kind of warranty you would have but I would assume it would be a powertrain warranty - which I don't think would be void if you were to swap out either the tail lights or the headlights.

What exactly do you not like about your tail lights? I have a 2010 and they have an amber patch on the outside tail light instead of a clear patch (amber bulb) - I would much rather have these - I have put on a red piece of vinyl to get rid of the orange.

mine 2012 came stock with the LED? I wonder if that was an option back then as 2011 was the first model the LED became available

The question is. How much do you want to spend? OEM is 1500+ for used set, 2200+ for New Set.
Ebay version is $400 for a set + HID kit.

Tail Lights theres actually a FS thread right now.

The choice is yours!
