cracked vossen wheel
hi all!
i purchased a set of vossen around 4 years ago, and recently i discovered 2 of them had a ~1 inch crack. main reason i bought them was because of their 5 year warranty, but since these wheels are discontinued, all vossen was able to do was to give me some store credit for a new set of wheels. i was a bit disappointed because i won't be purchasing new wheels any time soon and ended up having to pay out of pocket for the repair. i guess if you want to use vossen warranty, you better wish something happens before they discontinue the wheels. lesson learned lol.
do you think once the cracks are fixed these will be fine to drive on again, or the whole wheel integrity is compromised? if so, i'll start saving up again for a new set, but this time around maybe a different manufacturer..

Its vossen, what do you expect? Lmao
I have work cr kais and 2 front wheels cracked because of this very huge pot hole. I was also running stretched tires so that didnt help absorb the impact. Anyways, i had them professionally repaired and still holds air until now. I check my tire psi every 2 weeks or so and its been like 2-3 months already. Also had to buy wider tires!
Edit: yes, it still drives straight and no wheel wobble for me.

yeah, instead of repairing i would have also got new vossen wheels. vossens have really nice styles and not using that credit is kinda like throwing away money. did they at least give u credit for plotiginal price of the wheel?
I agree, Vossen did what they could. If they no longer have the wheel then there's literally nothing they can do but give store credit.
