Default Please help identifying this mysterious part

I went to a car wash last week and when I got home I noticed this thing on the seat.
Seems like a portion of a cup holder or something but I can't match it to any part of my IS.
Any clue? Thanks!

I think it goes inside your center console. It is a part of the cupholder in there and it adjustable forwards and backwards.

Edit: Just went out and looked. IT only goes in one position, not adjustable forward and back.

I see it now.
Barely use that so didn't notice it was there.
Thank you, mate.

You're welcome! Awesome that you took so many pictures from about every angle imaginable. Some posts I've seen here and on Facebook are blurry, up so close or so far away you've really got no earthly idea what it is they want help identifying.

Funny this came up. For the first time ever I found out in the past month that that component actually pops out of the center console. Was like, oh...I guess that makes sense. LOL!
