Default Cupholders

I saw that this was discussed once before, but we have an IS350C and I can't believe there's only one front cup-holder; plus the one that's there doesn't hold a real drink - just a can or small coffee. Bigger containers just don't fit.

Options I've already heard about:
- Tom's $200+ cup holder accessory (ridiculous price - just not going to do it)
- Use the center console - not really an awesome option
- Use the rear seat cup holders. Kinda dangerous drink access at 80mph.
- $5 cup holder accessory from Amazon. Reviews indicate that while it does give you two cupholders, that they aren't big enough for a bigger cup either.

So, other than those options, what else have you all done to carry drinks?

I have heard that some of you may have side pocket cup holders. Mine does not. I also don't see anything remotely resembling a cup holder in the center console.

Thanks for any new suggestions / products out there that I may not have found.

I have my wife hold hers.

In all seriousness is I don't have that many drinks in the car. I don't like food in the car either cause it makes a mess.

I have no problem fitting drinks in there, but the largest I ever tried to fit in was a large drink -- maybe those thirst buster size won't fit. For containers or bottles I use the side pocket container holder -- I guess the ISC version doesn't have that ...

I have been using the armrest cup holder for 7 years--no problem. Not really a big deal for me.

I remember the olden days before cupholders. You held it in between your legs! That was a challenge with a manual tranny.

I do fine with my cupholders. I order the 32oz cups that are narrow at the bottom. I get them by the case of 400 from Amazon.

I had a vip table from my buddy and former CL member Vipdout. You can see his tables on Vipdout.com and they held drinks perfectly along with phones.

lol, I've never had a problem holding any drinks. Long as you don't get the extra super large big gulp cups you should be fine. Most soda cups and bottles fit fine in there
