Need help on how to dismantle the center console, specifically the big compartment with dual opening/closing doors. Credit card somehow fell in between drop down door and side wall and now it won't completely retract. Anyone know where to unscrew, etc?

1 take a look at the DVD override thread...it may give you some help, but I don't now if the console removal goes back as far as the bigger console.

PM VVT-i, he is a tech and will absolutely know how to do it.

It doesnt. I am one of the guys that did it, and you dont have to take that apart. I'll take a look at the service manual and try to figure that one out.

I flipped my wallet upside down several weeks back and dropped a bunch of credit cards between the seat and the center console. With all the stuff under the seat, it was almost impossible to get them. I had to actually take the seat out

Good news is that I was able to get the french fries out at the same time...
