"Check VSC"
Hello everyone,
My wife just informed me that my car won't start and the "check vsb" alert displays on the screen. The car hasn't been driven since Sept 6th but has been turned on and off every other week or so. I've been out of state so the car has been sitting in the garage. My 2008 IS 350 has 83K miles and no prior issues. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Well if it's sitting in the garage then your batt could be the culprit! A bad batt. could possibly, throw codes left and right.
You stated it wont start and it hasnt been driven in some time. A vehicle needs to be driven to recharge the batt, not sit at idle , this is what your alternator accomplishes to help recharge your batt. . Old vehicles used generators. So that in mind you need to, either, charge your batt or buy a new one. Then it should start up for you.
Hope this makes sense.
