So I'm going to invest on some new LED Headlights from VIPMOTOZ and people have said to make sure to get your own protection kit. Are there certain ones you recommend? Thanks!
If you want to put a clear over the outside lenses, I have used with great success the product from Griot's Garage. You sand the lenses with several grits of wet/dry paper and then spray a clear over them. This hardens in the sun and protects. I did the lenses on my 97 Supra 3 years ago and they are still perfect!
Theres 2 methods i know in my head for healight protection. Clear coats with prep work before and One of those Bra Lens films that you place over like a Vinyl.
I'm gonna get optilens. It's supposed to last the lifetime of your car. Pricey at 69.99 but might be worth it. Got some good reviews . it is also recommended to be used on brand new lights so no sanding off the old coat.

I think what a lot of people were suggesting was to get it professionally clear coated at a body shop. It shouldn't cost too much. That is the best route IMO if you want quality clear coat that last a long time.
akanick, you can apply Headlight Protecting Cover by WeatherTech on your headlights and protect them from scratching, cracking and pitting. This product has built-in ultraviolet inhibitors that help prevent the material from drying, hardening or discoloring: http://www.carid.com/weathertech/lam...ht-covers.html
Here is a video showing how easily it can be installed:
depends how much money you wanna spend/waste. regular wax applied often should be good enough. Meguirs has a sealent made just for headlights which supposably bonds/last longer then wax. then there is stuff like opticoat which actually permanently bonds to the plastic and is pretty pricey. i tried it all but opticoat type products. i feel wax does the job just fine to slow down oxidization.
