Default Doors unlocking themselves?

I tried to search, but couldn't really find anything pertaining to this:

Sometimes when pulling into a steep driveway quickly, or going over rough roads, my doors will spontaneously unlock. First time it happened I thought I hit the button on the fob by accident. I put the fob in the glasses holder or cup holder and it's happened a couple times since. What happens is all doors unlock, both turn indicators light up momentarily and the car will beep a couple times. Doors stay unlocked unless I push the lock again.

Any ideas? Lexus service advisor said it might be door actuators, ~$500/per so $2k for all. They'd have to replicate the problem. I'd rather not pay that.

My car used to do that. Somebody said if the car thinks it is about to roll over from a crash it will unlock the doors. I guess it has a learning computer because after a while my car quit doing it.

I've heard about this happening before and I leaned toward what was said above. Basically a safe-measure built-into the car's electrics. All this happens while driving though, right? The unlocking doesn't happen while stationary though does it?

I believe it is Volkswagen that has the system that unlocks the doors if it senses an impending crash. (It was in one of their TV ads)

Never heard of this on the Lexus.

Yes only while driving. Never had it happen while I was out of the car or it was off.

It's pretty standard nowadays.
