Morning everyone..... I am a newly proud and excited owner of a second gen IS250.... Im stoked to get started on "Lexi" I built an Audi A6 twin turbo back in '08. But have always liked the IS Model, so I figured I would buy one... Just wanted some pointers on what to buy and what name brands are good, like entry level name brands, middle of the road name brands, and top shelf name brands? What are some things everyone is doing cosmetically to enhance the appearance? Engine mods? suspension mods? And any Hacks or DIY mods that can be done? I am really excited to see what I can do to Lexi and having everyone's input and help in making this thing bad@$$... looking forwards to everyone's response. Thanks!

Why would the engine need to be rebuilt for 06-09?

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I know I can do a lot with this car just looking for ideas! Lmao about the engine rebuilt..... I believe its all on how its driven, how the previous owner/owners drove and maintained the car. And yes it is an '08 with 49K, and runs and sounds great! I am the second owner!
