I'll post up my setup tomorrow when it's light out. I hard wired my radar detector to the other side of the cigarette outlet that you're using. And hard wired the Dash cam to the power for my navi, as well as the video output to the navi screen.
Also, both my dash cam and radar detector don't have any screens or anything, so they are as stealthy as possible. The radar detector has a separate wireless remote, but I never use it. I just listen for the beeps.
All the wiring is completely hidden and all of the accessory outlets are still available for use.
Here's an old pic of my GPS antenna (aftermarket) and my dash cam. Ignore the tape on the cam and antenna. The dash cam was interfering with my GPS signal, so I wrapped both in tin foil and then black electrical tape.
And here's a video sample of my Chinese dash cam. This was me (unknowingly) passing a sergeant in the Ford Fusion at the start of the video then coming up on a cop in the unmarked Tahoe. That was a VERY expensive morning. NOTE: The video quality is much better on the original file.
So that blackberry bluetooth... Will that work on any phone? I am annoyed by the cord coming out of the center console to my phone for music
I use mine to connect to my Ipod Nano 7th gen and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 ... only problem there is electric whining noise so I use a rechargeable battery to power the Blackberry Music gateway.
What dashcam did you get? Can you share with us the specific parts and price you got ? How does the recording work? Does it save the video file as .avi into some internal harddrive or flashdrive or USB??? Does it automatically record whenever you drive?? This seems very interesting to me and I'm thinking of getting one. Thanks.

It's model A118 dash cam, do a search on eBay or Amazon got mines for $65. I installed a 32GB micro SD card and set it to record in 3 min files the video format is .MOV and quality is pretty good for a budget cam I set it at full 1080p and it takes up about 350mb for a 3 min file. By default the dash cam starts recording when it receives power and turns of after a few seconds of loosing power. Although it has a rechargeable battery built-in I don't think it holds much. It also have motion detection which I haven't tested personally. I didn't hard wire the dash cam because I want the quick option of turning it on and off as needed. I dash cam fits quite nicely behind the rear view mirror. I highly recommend this dash cam for the price I paid let's just hope it last for a while since it was made in China.
