Hi so last year my rear defroster was not working I had tints when I bought car it was working. So I brought car to Lexus they said switch got loose and re plugged it in. Now it's not working again year later. Anyone know where I can locate this plug and how it looks like? Side mirror heat is working. Before I go ripping up the trunk area hopefully someone knows an easy way :/
So I will reply to my own thread I figured out what was wrong with my defroster one of the wires was fried that plugs onto glass. The rear glass has 2 motors on each side. You pop off the panels on the side of the rear speakers. Pretty easy pops right off. I found replacement Part on ebay oem $19. Not bad. I will replace the motor since it already has plugs attached to it. Maybe this can help someone if they have no warranty like me it looks pretty easy to swap out I will do it this week. Could not find a schematic or the part number of the connector that bridges the two defroster elements. Looks like it would require soldering at least one if the elements to replace it. So I made a replacement tab to splice the broken tab. Fashioned it out of about 2 inches of the neutral solid core wire from 12 guage romex cable and a modified (squashed it to fit!) ring crimp terminal since it more closely matched the thickness of the factory spade which broke off. Filed down the wire to fit very snugly into the area left from the broken spade.
Here is a close up of the connector which has the broken spade terminal... my fabbed piece went in the small gap below the broken piece of metal.
Here is another view of the connector, was very close up, and hard to get into focus from an inch and a half away.
Lastly, here is the connector I made to splice the two connectors. Used a file to shape the wire for a very tight fit.

How to release the clip connecting to the defroster tab
Sorry if I missed this some where, but I can't figure out how by the life of me to release the wiring harness off the male clip on the defroster tab. What am I missing?
