has anyone had one or more of their door lock actuators fail on them? I have a 2008 IS350. I recently went to go unlock all of my doors from the passenger side front door and noticed my car kept flashing and beeping about 4 or 5 times. usually it just beeps and flashes once. I went to go check the rest of my doors and found that my driver rear door didn't unlock... I rarely use my two rear passenger doors too.

 

Yes, I've read of a handful of instances on here of other members having had to replace a door actuator.

 

ya it started happening to me too not to long ago but the problem seems to went away... but going to take it as a sign that the actuator is going out

 

Same here. I had the stupid thing bump about 6 times. I noticed that my rear door lock would not unlock/lock off and on. Then one day it just died. Then a few weeks later the other side died too. Replaced both door locks. Tip if you DIY, be careful when taking off your door panels. The corner is kinda tight and if you have the crappy sticky/cracking door panels like me, I took a huge chunk out of my door panel.

With all my other cars, never had I had a crappy dash nor have multiple door locks failing,. Lexus is a POS and I am counting the days to getting rid of this turd.
