As the title states I have a 2008 IS250 with 67k miles on it. Today my check VSC, check engine light, and VSC light came on. I tried cleaning the MAF sensor with MAF cleaner. I am wondering if it is possibly carbon buildup which I saw a DIY carbon cleanup at one point which I would have to find again. I was also wondering if the fact that it is 111 degrees today would cause anything or if I Should check my spark plugs. Basically trying to cover all my bases and probably some things that I should probably do at almost 70k miles. Any help is appreciated.
Update: I have cleaned the MAF sensor, replaced the o-ring on the MAF, checked almost every fuse, checked the gas cap o-ring (looks fine). I have cleared the code and it comes back. These are just some of the possible symptoms I have seen around forums. I don't have any symptoms of carbon buildup.
