Default '07 IS250 Misfire

Good day,

I've been having some trouble with my vehicle for a few weeks now so I decided to hook up a computer to the OBD2. From this I got trouble codes P300 Random Misfire, Misfire on Cylinder 1, 3 and 5. In addition it threw a code out for MAF Sensor. Any suggestions where I should start with this problem?

My guess is it is more than likely your MAF Sensor (also check Air Filter for condition). Since 3 different cylinders have experienced misfires it would lead me to believe that it's not a coil or anything like that but possibly an air/fuel issue. You can get some MAF cleaner at Walmart and try cleaning it. Or you can replace it . I would suggest the Denso OEM one for $82

If that doesn't fix your problem, you may want to pull one of the plugs from those particular cylinders and inspect them for carbon buildup. You might be starting to experience the infamous Carbon Build up issue.

Did you ever get the vehicle to keep running? or is it still having a hard time? Curious where you are at with this car?

I would suggest the Denso as well because its oem. Im 1 to save a couple of bucks but when it comes to maf sensors its only oem.
