Default VSC after unhooking MAP/MAF

As the title states I got the annoying VSC warning after unhooking the MAP/MAF (whatever it's called) while messing with my headlights last night. I have since drove 25 miles and it is still on. I have an 08' 350 with 60K miles and have had zero issues regarding the VSC. The only thing I can think of is that I got some dust in the sensor. Any suggestions?

you started it with the maf sensor unplugged? its no biggie.

pull the 10 amp ects fuse and the 25 amp efi fuse in the fuse box on the right side of the engine bay for 1 minute or more.

replace, start car. It will sputter and die. start car again. codes will be gone.

voila'

I recently installed new low-beam HID bulbs and had to unplug the MAF sensor. I made the mistake of starting up the car to test the headlights while the sensor was still unplugged, so I got a CEL (also, keep in mind the VSC light comes on anytime you get a CEL because the car disables VSC when there's a CEL - so your problem is likely a CEL, not a VSC issue).

I have an OBDII scanner, so I checked the code and of course it was related to the MAF sensor. I turned the car off, plugged the MAF sensor back in, and used my OBDII scanner to erase the codes. No issues when I turned the car back on.

Not sure if the code will go away over time or if it has to be erased, but you should just swing by a dealer or Autozone to get the code read. If it's MAF-related, have them erase the code. If it goes away (and the MAF sensor is plugged back in correctly), you're good. If it comes back, then you still have an issue.

Help, I have a 08 Lexus IS F, the car won't start if the air flow sensor is connected but will start if I discounted it. If I try to connected while running the car will turn off. I did install a new gem air flow sensor and connector
