Default Direct Fit replacement subwoofer

Hey everyone i know this has been asked a ton of times but i cant seem to find the answer im looking for :/

My IS350 ML Sub went out and I need a Replacement. I dont wanna order another ML sub cuz from what i've read they only go out again within a year or so. And at around 300 bucks not including labor thats waay 2 much.

So . My question is "Is there any free air subs that fit directly into where the sub goes?" I dont wanna have to buy an enclosure and a seperate amp so if there are ANY subs that can replace this and save me money that would Make my day.

Thank you all and i look forward to your answers

Though I've recommend this before, I'm not sure if someone had done it yet. What about a non-ML sub in its place? I mean, you just don't hear a lot of those subs going out.

If I remembered what the sub wiring specifics were for the ML, I could say that it work fine as a replacement...but I don't.

If anyone knows the watt RMS for both the ML and non-ML subs are and whether either are dual or single voicecoil, please comment here.

Just wondering. When you say the pioneer sucks what exactly do you mean?

Is it atleast on par with the ML Sub?

So is there any sub that performs as well as the ML sub for less $??

Also, out of curiosity. How much did it cost to install an enclosure and everything you have?? Would it be difficult to DIY?

I did mines for around 500 all by myself. With custom sub and **** lol
I think its worth it though you could buy used amp and sub and make it cheaper

First off Thanks everyone for the replies!!

Second, can anyone tell me roughly how difficult is the install for the pioneer shallow sub??

Is there any modifications required to make it fit? Thanks again
