anyone know the specs on the 09 GS450 audio system? I'm planning on replacing the ML sub with JL, any advice or tips appreciated

 

Its a 10 inch sub but you can't replace a free air sub with a regular sub. There are a few threads on this subject, here is my basic response..

Most people add a LOC with an external amp and put a sub in the trunk. That was my initial setup but the sound wasn't balanced. Therefore I switched to a digital processor and couldn't be happier with the results..

Is your sub blown or you just want to replace it ? If its still in working condition how much would you sell it for ? My sub in the rear is blown , or separated from the foam. I think the glue deteriorated on my sub and sounds like a crazy rattling noise.
