If I read your original post it is not spiking temp it is getting to normal and then droping before going back to normal. So what are you worried about? It is not going hot just cooler when you get on it right?

Yes true, the temp NEVER has went past the normal, halfway mark. It gets to normal and drops slightly, then slowly climbs back up to normal.(When car is ran hard). The reason I am worried is I know this is not normal car behavior I am very picky with my car as I plan to keep it as long as possible. ( I own two IS's and in a couple years it will be 3, one from each generation).

Lobuxracer I am doing what you said to do this evening when I get home, I will post results afterwards.

Thanks everyone for your help, if anyone else has anything to add or tell me, please chime in!
