Default Should I bleed my cooling system or what?

The radiator hose that was connected to the radiator to the engine blew and i lost a lot of coolant nd my car is now overheating. I replaced the radiator hose and add about a bottle of coolant into the radiator.

I took it for a spin and it keeps overheating. I haven't bleed my coolant system in over 3 years. I mean everything was fine prior to the radiator hose blowing up.

Sympton: my car was blowing cool air but now it has hot air.
the temperature gauge needle keeps going up to hot and then it goes down to normal and then later it goes up again...what gives?

run your car w/ the heater on, top off the coolant, leave the cap off, and let it warm up. If there is any air in the system, it will bubble out.

Had a similar problem w/ my car, except when i'd rev it a little then the needle would go down. Bled the system and no problems since.

FYI, afterputting lots of coolant in the radiator and let it cool helped a lot. I only needed to add more coolant into the radiator. Monroe tires did not try to flush my car in the beginning like I asked them to. They said it could be the "head gasket giving me the problems/overheating" "we don't service that, sorry. Flushing won't help" HAHHA!! you're wrong! the car needed only coolant...bunch of morons,..whatever i saved $75 bucks
