Default P2757 & P2714 is250 07 , 165k

So my 07 check engine light with vsc was on for about a year. I'd get a low idle between 1-2 RPMs at times I thought it was going to turn off. I finally lost power and it felt like I couldn't shift it. So I had p2757 & p2714 as the codes , which I was told were the solenoids and got 2 parts (part 35280-35290) from the dealer. (See pic) about $420 for BOTH solenoids Also flushed the tranny. Car was running good, until 3 weeks later. So again I loose power on the freeway scary!!! This time it read p2714 only. Now I'm being told solenoid D (part 35230) ? Does this sound right??? Do all solenoids return the same code of p2714? Is there after market parts or websites anyone know of?? The dealer wants $309 for this part!!! i appreciate any advice.

I took my car in two weeks ago to do a few recalls and had my transmission fulid drained and replaced and my checked engine light came on with a P2714 code a few days ago... My service advisor told me it looks like my the transmission control module but a tech has to look at it to confirm

This is when I started to get these lights... after the ELF recall for the gas smell. The first time I disconnected the battery and the lights went away, but they came back this evening. Will be at the dealership tomorrow to see what they have to say.

My car was just in last week for the ELF, wiper nut and trunk latch recalls which I also had them drain the refill the transmission while it was there(150K miles).. The dealer pulled a 2714 code and sent me home in a CT hybird and still has my car since Wednesday night... supposedly will an answer for me on Monday

Ok so mind is throwing codes P0172 and P0175 to do with te O2 sensors the dealership says but they can't find anything wrong. They just did a reset and want to bring it back if the codes come back.

Your multiple stories above about having CELs AFTER a trans fluid flush keeps solidifying my theory on not having a fluid exchange done period. I'll rock my 9/05 trans until it craps out during a hard launch at the drag strip. LOL!

Can anyone provide a nice update here? On the first page someone recommended to change out the TCC solenoid part# 35210-50010 and then "whitebeast" recommended replacing SLU solenoid part # 35280-30050 . I would like to get this fixed in one shot with one solenoid rather than tossing 2 at it off the bat because these are $200 a pop. Im throwing p2757 within 20 miles of resetting my codes although my car runs great and doesnt really have any shifting issues.

Having the exact same issue, 07is250 with 118k miles. Car shifts smoothly, no hesitating, no stalling, no shutting off, but the CEL, Check VSC and vehicle stability control lights are all on. Just last night I cleared the code and literally 20 miles later it came back on. Im literally sitting in the waiting area of the dealership waiting to hear back from the techs. Hopefully they won't say it needs a new transmission (it shifts perfectly fine) and I'll walk away paying for a flush only.

My experience with transmission problems..

In the very beginning very rarely would I be driving and it would get stuck in third and not shift but this fixed itself when I came to a stop and go. I thought nothing of this.

Then as time went on I had intermittent CEL lights + VSC coming on and off. I thought nothing of it.

Fast forward 6 months. more often would it get stuck in 3rd and more often would the CEL and VSC stay on. I pulled codes I believe there was 4, I forgot what codes but one was the solenoid and another was torque converter.

This was temporarily fixed by unplugging the battery and plugging it back in, CEL and VSC would go away and car would drive normal. I could get away with days to weeks without any problems but it just got worse and worse. getting stuck more often and not fixing by resetting the battery. And then finally just stuck and not passing 3rd gear, this is when I knew it was time to do something.

I put my car back to stock intending to sell it because usually transmission fixes dont drive as well as originally... but after getting my transmission rebuilt. I can honestly stay it drives the same and I can't feel a difference like I have had on my previous car. Still shifts very smoothly.. Costed me $1700 to rebuild but I have no regrets and it came with a 1yr guarantee. its been over a year and still drives like new and shifts like butter.

Other than that this car has been trouble free and I still enjoy driving the car and plan on keeping it until it gives out.

Keep in mind it took about 1.5 years from the initial symptom that i noticed for it to finally take a dump.

So good luck to you all with this type of problem and I hope someone finds a fix before it is too late like in my case.

$1700 for rebuild is that from Lexus Dealer? I got same code and one awhile it get stuck on 3rd gear. Lexus dealer calibrate transmission ECU and it seem to work ok now. Will see if check engine light will come on in couple of month.

Yea, it's just a matter of dropping the pan, and then a single bolt holds in the retainer pins for both solenoids.
