Default Driver Rear door sensor keeps going off when I make a turn or hit a bump

Hey guys my Driver Rear door sensor keeps going off when I make a turn or hit a bump. Ive read that putting WD-40 on the latches will help out but it still keeps going off. So frustrated with this. Any help?

Look and see if there is possibly a small dent in the inner part of the door where it strikes the sensor to determine if the door is shut. My wife closed her seatbelt in our old Honda Pilot, and this is what happened--except it wasn't around curves, it was showing the door was opened all the time. I put a felt pad (like the kind you would put under a table leg) over the spot, and that took care of it.

Yes, check for any damage to the striker or the latch...you might be able to adjust the striker a bit to pull the door in a bit tighter to prevent this as well.

I have the same issue. I think its a common issue with all ISx50's. I put a piece of double sided tape (the thick one) where the striker goes and it works well. Its not a great fix but it works. Im hoping that toyota puts out a recall to fix it because it seems to be common among ALL the cars
