Recently installed the 8" GPS DVD Unit from China, like the FlyAudio one, I have a quick question about the USB input wire. I read someone in this forum that we need a female USB adapter, I tried that too but nothing fit. How does everyone install this?

 

That doesn't work u have to cut the end and add a female, some how the wires in a adaptor don't line up with the ones on the china unit

 

You mean cut e big plastic piece covering the USB input right ?

 

No I mean cut cable and hook up another female USB

 

Their is only like 4 wire in a USB cable, just match the colors and u should b ok

got everything working now, thanks for all the help guys....the usb input, does it work with hard drive too or with just flash drive, i tried plugging in my portable hard drive but nothing was detected. Have you guys tried this?

 

Yep I got a wd portable hard drive on mine with 368 movies workers good for me.

 

how big is your hard drive?

 

1 terabyte

 

anyone knows if this unit is capable of auto playing the next file or playlist? Right now I have to press each file separately to play them
