Default Having issues w/ Double DIN DVD install

After the install of my Double Din Dvd player, the radio's power antenna is not coming up on my SC300.

I had a stock base tape player AM/FM Lexus head unit. I was wondering if anyone can help me find out what power the atenna mast from the dvd unit. On the new harness, i have a wire for the power antenna, but i don't know what to wire it to.

My other problem is getting the dvd to work for me. On the owner's wiring diagram supplied, it requires me to wire their REVERSE wire to the emergency brake and to PARK. I can't use the DVD unless it is PARK and the E brake on. Is there a way to bypass these step to get the DVD to work?

I don't have any experience in installing a dvd player, and i was wondering if anyone can help. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

what DVD player did you get? Don't connect the reverse wire to the ebrake, that makes no sense. Connect the parking brake wire to ground and it should bypass it, depending on which unit you have. I seem to remember something about there being two wires for our power antennas, mine doesn't work either....then again i never listen to the radio.

the antenna will only come up if you are in fm or am mode. you can connect to amp signal and that way it will come up whenever stereo is on. this way the antenna won't be going up and down every time you go from dvd, cd to radio ect...

There are a pink with blue strip wire, and a pink with green strip wire. connect both of them to you blue ant wire. And you ant will go up and down when you turn on the radio. Also about the wire to the ebrake mines has this to. There is one black wire that that goes to the ebrake its under center consol. Just splice your pink wire on to it. I would like to know how to bypass it to. If you just pull the ebrake to the first notch it will work when driving.

for the ebrake wire, all you have to do is connect it to a ground and it will be bypassed. no need to pull the ebrake at all.
