2008 model - need to change oil, local Toyota dealer will only get oil filter part in mid August!! Can anybody assist with oil filter details from alternative supplier? Thanks for responses but apparently agent only - how poor is this service from Lexus .....

Yeah I'd say just order a whole case on eBay , and you're set for a while

 

I went to the local Toyota dealership today (Hurst, Texas) and picked up an oil filter for my IS250 with no dilemma. Said he had 28 in stock. Wonder what the problem was...

 

Ebay or Amazon. I get my off Amazon and buy ~3-4 at a time. They are about $8 + free shipping.
