hi, i would like to know where's the best place to wire from skirt to skirt, I am finishing up my VIP style and need to connect the two. Thanks

 

under the front door sill i think but check on the forum there a writeup on how to wire them

 

Oh that part I know, but they didn't have suggestion on wiring from skirt to skirt. RegRover wired in the front but I am not exactly where, I don't want the wire to break or in a way when doing maintenance or any kind of repairs

 

he wired to the rear dome light....easiest way is to run them to the front then behind the panel inside and under the driver dash there a fuse there for the dome light and for the passenger side same thing and just run wire under the radio to driver side.

 

I am not doing the dome light because he drilled two holes which I don't wanna do and too much work. I am just going to tap it to my scuff light for now, maybe in the future I will tap it to the puddle light. I didn't know he wired from skirt to skirt thru the panel lol I was thinking under the car... um... I definintely need pictures to know how to do this. I sent him a message, hope he gets back to me...

 

Yeah if you tap into puddle light then it will turn on as you approach car and if you tap to scuff light they only turn on when you open door I think.

 

Yes I know, I might get the puddle light tap inside the door panel, there should be 2 yellow wires for me to tap. I just wish someone if there's dome light wires under the scuff plate or Pillar-A/B. That will make my life a lot easier but for now I am ok just getting it on when opening the door.
