Help! I'm desperate!
Does the hose clamp not even fit around the silicon coupler without anything being installed yet?
Anyone have a picture of this "electrical box" that might have been in the way of the intake/heat shield? I don't have a heat shield, but I recall having to move or remove any box. Only issue I had was regarding the vacuum line not staying on the aluminum tube with the OEM clasp.

but i can tell you guys the headache was not worth the sound or the money.
might change back to oem if the sound doesnt get quiter too.
It wont get quieter. You bought one of the loudest intakes (if not the loudest)
alright so after the install im looking at my average mpg....and its at 18 right now granted it hasnt even been a full day and i was flooring it for the most part yseterday.
how long do you guys think till it gives you a definite on how much your average mpg is?

Intakes for our cars dont affect MPG (other than negatively by stomping on the gas to hear the intake). Your cars ECU is adjusting to the intake, I would say give it a day or two
invidia midpipe is nice to have. you only hear it when the windows are down and when you floor it. I have the invidia pipe with an F sport intake. I hear the midpipe around 3-4k RPM then the intake sound at 4-5k RPM. At about 3k RPM you can slightly hear the intake rumbling a little bit. works for me

Cuz I hear my exhaust/midpipe through the entire RPM range
