Default Help! I'm desperate!

Okay so I tried installing the takeda intake today and there are multiple issues.

1st spent 1.5-2 hours and not only does the hose clamp not fit but the heat shield will not fit on the bottom part because some sort of electrical box is blocking it.

2nd I don't know why but after my windows will not shut down on a push of a button I have to manually roll them down and I have to go to each side to roll the windows down...wtf!

3rd my garbage disposal broke! Lol

Please help I need everyone and anything

pics of the intake install? or where its at?

For your power windows, go to each individual door, roll the window down then up. Assuming you pulled the negative terminal when you attempted to install the intake, it usually happens.

I disconnected both positive and negative off the battery

How would I reset it so my windows work?

im not sure bout the intake but when you disconnect the battery the windows reset. you have to roll every window all the way down and then up from each door and then they will work again from the driver door.

Just keep on rolling the windows up and down several times and it should fix it. I had that issue many times, and yes it is sort of a pain just sitting there and playing around with the windows. But it isn't just rolling it down once and rolling it back up, it has to be done several times.

if is still blinking then do this?

roll your windows half way down... then rolling the window all the way up and hold it for about 10-15sec then let go or until the blinking light in the window switch is solid..

This instruction should be in the manual.. good luck bro..

what usually works for me for the windows is make sure the window is all the way up then press the lever all the way down till its completely open then pull the lever all the way up till the window is close do this to all the windows and they should work

I had to move the same electrical box on both my 250 and 350. Its actually very simple thing, the box itself is held down by one 10mm bolt. What you need to do is find a 10MM Nut, remove the 10MM bolt and once you do that look on the back of the radiator support. You will see a 10MM stud sticking out, slide the hoop of the box onto that stud and use your 10MM nut to hold it down.

Simple as that.

Turn your car on and go to each window and hold the window button in the up position (all the way up not just auto) hold it for about 20 seconds then press the button down to have the window auto go down. Once that is complete walk over to the driver side or reach over to it and press the switch on the driver door to have that window go up auto and ur set. Do that to the remaining sides and your done. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^B16da9 is correct I had to do the same thing when I put in my intake.

I know you fixed the window issue already, but I'll just post this pic up for future references for people that will run into the same window issue.
