Question Window reset with JoeZ intake install?

I've heard that the windows must be "reset" after disconnecting the battery when installing the JoeZ intake tube. Is this true? Seems strange to me. Also, how do you remove the engine cover on these cars? I'm guessing it just pops off unlike the rest of the panels that use the plastic fasteners. I just put in a K&N panel filter and I'm waiting on my JoeZ intake to arrive. Any other install do's and don'ts are greatly appreciated.

Thankz,

engine cover literally jus pops off haha..u really don't need to disconnect the battery, the intake doesn't provide a BIG change for the ECU to get used to, but if ur heart is set on disconnecting, just go around ur car and hold ur window down button till it's down, then up button till it's up, then click n it should go all the way down n up automatically like normal, u do this for EACH window

Thankz,
No need to pull the battery.

But yeah if you do they need to be reset as described since the car no longer "remembers" the position of each window.

For 2009 models that actually added flash memory to each window to store the position of them so they don't "forget" when the battery is disconnected.

The fact each windows have more memory than my first computer amuses me to no end.
