Default I'm back!

whatsup fellas, as the title says im finally back to the Lexus family! i used to have an 08 IS250 but was younger then and not really into modding, just wondering who are some of the top/best vendors out for our Lexus' ... first mod will be coils, most likely BC but i have been looking into the Megan EZ just bc of its low price, but im a strong beleiver in you get what you pay for...all help would be greatly appreciated!

also quick question, do people put halo/angel eyes on their headlights ? i talked to a freind who has an IS ab getting it done on the new headlights but for some reason he said it wasnt possible

He bought a 2013 f-sport, it comes with LED headlights already. LOL

As for the Halo's don't do it, there is a reason why you bought a lexus is f-sport and not a BMW 3 series ... It just seems Ricey! like halos on a civic, but thats my personal opinion.

Welcome back to CL!

BC coils is a good start. You have a few other options to chose from if you decide to do coil overs. Are you planning to do any other mods besides coil overs?

And yes, it is possible to do the halo conversion for our IS head lights. It looks, "OK" but more out of place. I would go with what others have stated, upgrade to the newer Lexus LED strips head lights that can be found on the newer models. It looks a whole lot better IMHO.

There was a deal offered for the head lights by one of our vendors Sewell Lexus. I am not sure if it is still going on. You might want to check out the vendors section for an update and other great deals.

Good luck with the mods!

We certainly are an opinionated bunch. I would not recommend the halos because of issues with opening and resealing the headlights. I always had issues with this on my IS300.

As far as good vendors.

F-Sport parts I would go to Sewellparts.com and create a profile, make sure that you put your Clublexus information in there. You will receive discounts on everything you buy when you are logged in.

Other aftermarket parts, I use Gotoracingonline.com. Kris Becker is great to work with. His pricing is more than fair and his service is the best I have come across.

for coils I would say BC's and if you do contact circuit Motorsports they seem to have the best price.

Totally agree; got my BCRs and Megan arms from him. Just the best customer service and great pricing to boot!

sorry fellas i was at work! i already have the LED strip, just always liked how halos looked so thought about it, but it is a headache to reseal them so going to just leave them stock with the black housing.

as far as mods after coils, im in the market for rims, i have a set of Varrstoen 2.2.2 but selling them local, i want to more concve and on 20s

looking to get a roof spoiler, going to red out the outter tails, paint the emblems either black, or gunmetal if i end up going that route on my rim color, tints this week, and adding the factory oem rear bumper lip, im sure along the way ill think of more lol

as far as bags go, i would love to, but $$$$ im only 23 so maybe in the future one day.

oh btw my car is Matador Red! i love the color and ill post pics tomorrow, its pouring here in miami right now
thanks for the replies guys!

^Just noticed your sig; a few nice cars in there. Almost got me a brand new 2013 Evo a few months ago; but their asking trade-in value for me 350 was a joke, so I had to pass.
