Default Quick Question - Australia.

Hey don't really post on here, mainly just come to see what everyone is doing.

Curious as to how some of you get so low without scraping on your front. I have done the following and I still scrape going over slight bumps in the road.

I am currently lowered on bc coilovers, running Vossen CV2's with 225/35 on the front. Installed is the SPC Ball joints and running -1.5 Camber. Guards have been rolled as well. The Front dampening is as hard as it can be. Also have the Figs Engineering bushes.

Have taken the fender liners out for now and have shaved the bumper tabs.

Is there anything else I can be doing as not to scrape. Thinking I might drop the tyre down to 225/30.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not all roads are created equal. Hell, some areas even in the US you cannot go too low unless you want to lose that bumper.

Maybe post pictures of how your ride currently sits, what scenarios is rubs. Aussie roads are pretty bad compared to some areas of the US etc.

Wheel fitment is a fine art & drivers have different standard. Many don't mind some rubbing, whereas others panic when they hear a small/minor one with a full load of passengers.

Yeah I have noticed that, even within Australia.

Will take some photos this afternoon and go from there. It's mainly on highway driving, railway lines, divets in the road etc.

I don't mind the rubbing, I can't go up certain driveways without scraping on lock.

Wow. Yeah 225/30 is your best bet for not rubbing. Im running Hankook V12s at 40 psi. Sorry to hear that you pop the bead.

So what other tyres besides the Hankook V12's that people run? When I was running 235/35 I had Achillies and no problems. Also what other sizes can we run, ie 235/30??

Had mine rebeaded, will see how we go

It was probably the bad bead. Another tire I might try next time are BFG KDWs. You can run 235/30, since Im 15mm running spacers. I chose to run a smaller width tire to comp for it. Heres what it looks like. 20x9+23 on 225/30 in the front

225/30 would be perfect for more room to go lower...if you removed your fenderliner and did your tabs you can dame near slammmmm it...if you r not running spacers... but with liner installed you can go a total of 2 inches i thing without rubbing... im running 225/30 with 39 psi 40 at maxx

Firstly, car looks great!! So you think 235/30 is possible?

My fenders are removed currently but will put em back on soon, tabs also done. So no more than 40 psi max? Can't go to low as our roads etc are not as good as you guys in the states....

Had my tyre rebeaded and seems like it has sort of bubbled on one side, could this be the problem of the bead popping/leak?
