Bought some LED DRLs to swap out my old ones. I took everything apart and mocked up the new LEDs. Everything worked and the new LEDs were looking great. Put everything back together and later went for a drive. Then I parked and went out to look only to find out the LED DRLs werent even on. Went back home to took everything back apart and put it back together and still nothing. Turned on HB and still nothing. Put stock DRLs back in and still nothing. Is the DRL powered by a fuse or a relay and where is this fuse/relay?
Where's the fuse or module at? I looked at both fuse box under the hood and couldn't find anything labeled drl or similar. I think I read it was a relay?
Maybe the LED's you got are too strong and using too much power causing your fuse or relay to go bad. I simply deactivated my DRL's and installed two LED bars in my lower bumper grill. Looks amazing.
LED's draw less power than the OEM bulbs so there is no chance of them drawing too much power. The most likely issue is that the fuse is blown, I would double-check to make sure everything was installed properly and go from there.
Are they the small bulb? Or did you change out the high beam for LED?
DRL is high bean. the small bulbs you're talking about is parking light.
Check the fuse, it's locate in engine bay on the passenger side next to the battery
I checked that fuse box but I couldnt find any fuse labeled high beam. Some thing must be going on. I see no reason why the light would just die and not turn on after I even put back the stock DRLs back in. Dang it.
It was a blown fuse. Had trouble finding what the fuse was labeled. The fuse is labeled H-LP UPR on the driver side fuse box under the hood. Everything works fine now and the LEDs look great.
