I did a search here on CL and on Google, but was not able to find an answer. I transferred my USB Flash Drive from my previous vehicle to the IS. For some unknown reason, when I start the car, the system does not recognize the flash drive, unless I perform a remove/insert, where the system would detect it again. My music is organized into folders and does not exceed the 255 files limit. Yes, I know I can transfer the MP3s to my phone and do Bluetooth stream, but would like to know if anyone else have had problem and was it resolvable? Thanks in advance..
ah thanks for clarifying. I guess my friends 250c didn't come with that option if thats the case, because he was excited to know that I have it on my 2012.
At this point about retrofitting one, I wouldnt be surprised if someone just had the time to do it. But retrofitting it wouldn't be the issue its the hardware being able to read it as a usb drive.
Well I got tired of figuring this out with my flash drive (which died now), ended up using my old ipod which was way better it read the music files much faster and I have full control of all the music onto my screen.
