Guys so like im experiencing an odd situation with my car's USB. I put songs in the drive and it works fine the first time; listen to on the go. As soon as i turn on the car for the second time the USB doesn't read and when checked in my laptop the files are all corrupted. Folder names or song names changed to symbols " (%#!(* " with no extensions.

What do you guys think could be the issue?

I have to format the USB every time to fix this issue. I tried partition the drive to FAT32 and NTFS. it still happens..

 

Have you got another USB stick you can try? Probably the best first step in troubleshooting the problem.

 

Are you formatting on a mac? It has to be formatted on a PC.
