It is covered under power train warranty by the way. Had to have mine replaced at 47,000 miles.

 

Agreed. I had mine replaced at the exact same mileage, 5.5 years after I bought the car (b-t-b was expired).

 

I've had my 08 IS350 for about 3 months now, purchased it with an extended powertrain warranty because I wasn't sure if the waterpump had been replaced or not. Noticed I had some coolant leaking weekend before last, called up the Lexus dealer I bought it from and no questions asked. Took the car in, got an RX350 for a loaner and picked my car up the next day. Only had to pay for the gas to get there and back!
