Default gf is250 started shaking check engine light blinking

car has approx 90k,purchased new in 06,took the car to lexus and the servive writer explained that the car has a random missfire on cylinder 6,he said that the piston rings need to be replaced,car does not smoke or burn oil,on the way to the dealership car ran fine, the car has extended warranty and it will be covered.cl what is your take on this

top end carbon cleaning was done approx 20k ago

I Just received a letter from Lexus stating that they would repair or fix this issue on any 06-10 is model. Even if it were out of warranty. I will try to scan

it can come back w/in 20k, that's why lexus extended the warranty for the 250s carbon deposit.

Free fix regardless of extended warranty or not. SB is out for it. I had mine cleaned like 3 times and I'm only at 61k miles (2006 as well). When it gets bad again I'm going to do the piston ring fix. I drive pretty hard though so its taking awhile for the problem to come back.
