Default squeaky drivers seat ?

First of, its a pleasure being part of this community. ive been around for a while when i had my is300 but after i sold it i got inactive and lost my account credentials. Well im back, with an 06 is350 base.

Lately my driver seat has started squeaking every time i get in and out of the car. Moving the seat back and forth or up and down makes no noise. Its only when i sit or go over a bump that causes movement makes the seat squeak.

Its driving me insane so any input is appreciated !

I had that problem too. There was a TSB for it and my dealer fixed it.

Good luck--I think that TSB was only good for the B-T-B warranty period; maybe they'll do it as a courtesy.

I had a loud creak/squeek every time I turned the car. The dealer did not perform the TSB, they just lubricated it (no charge while I was getting an oil change) and I haven't had any problems since.

I had the same issue too, and like Clay, the dealer just lubricated/greased something on the drivers seat when I had the car in for service and it has fixed the issue so far. They didn't charge me anything for it either!
