This really only applies to the "executive" luxury sedans like the 7, S, LS. The kind of person who drives a car like that is usually your 40-50 year old white collar $300k/year executive/lawyer/physician.

Again, I have nothing against BMW and I think it's a great car. I'd make the exact same points about a post 07 LS as well.
In general I can give 2 ****s wat people on the road think of me when im behind the wheel of what car. as long as i enjoy the car that is all i care for.

As i been thinking about it and after driving it today, its just a little to big for me. So i think im gonna hold on to this car a bit longer and look into a newer bmw550 or S550 (absolutely love driving these cars)

You rather trade in for a 2012 IS or a brand new Beemer. I say no go, unless money grows In your back yard.

I probably wont be getting anymore Lexus Sedans after the IS for myself, maybe an LX in the future. I just don't like how flimsy the plastic feels on all japanese cars + road noise/engine noise i hear/feel.

But for today the IS350 suits all my needs.

Yeah I agree, the interior creaks and rattles with temperature changes in the IS250/IS350 are extremely irritating, but it's not due to "flimsy plastic" - it's more due to the utter lack of proper insulation.

If you ever opened up the dash you'll notice Lexus uses a bunch of flimsy felt to insulate potential creak points (and even then they don't use nearly enough).

My brother has an 04 BMW M3 and the interior is worse than my 02 Acura TL. Headliners comes apart, door handles creaks, rubber surrounding windows breaks apart just by touching it. The whole thing just feels cheap to me, and for a 60K sports car that's pretty bad. I can't say for the rest of the BMW line up but don't expect things to stay together over time.
