For those who are getting bubbling issues with TSB headlamps, were you using the stock bulbs?

When I had my lights changed to the TSB headlamps, I had my stock bulbs changed at the same time to Philips Ultinon 6000K and have not experienced any bubble issues.
I'm using stock bulbs n gettin bubblin

Default The moment has arrived...

I bought my 2011 IS one year ago. Since reading this thread I have made sure to check it every few months especially before the warranty expires. It looks like I finally have my long awaited bubble. This forum is a great resource. I may have missed this.

Do you guys know if the TSIB is still available for the 2011 headlights? I never noticed it on my 350fsport until I came across this thread. Some guy on the other forum said Lexus denied his TSIB saying they aren't doing it anymore? But the paper itself said this is in action for 2 years since first service date? Here's the link to the TSIB saying so in a red coded box. Unless I didn't read it right.. http://is.sewellparts.com/pdf/L-SB-0..._led_lamps.pdf

I have 2012 lights and I have no bubling. Then again I have a retrofit so perhaps the stock projectors are causing this problem.

or maybe you haven't had them long enough? I guess it all depends, mine started doing this 4 months after having the 2011's replaced under the TSB.

I just checked mine this morning... bubbles!

My car is garaged every day, parked under a garage parking at work, I suspect this issue is with the projector itself and not with the sun. Also, the dealer kept this and hundreds of their cars in a garage as well.

I bought my IS250 in April of this year. According to the TSIB it is covered under the regular warranty, so I will report this to Lexus and see if they can tell me when they have finally come up with a real solution I guess.

I've had them since about July and I'm in Hot South Florida and they survived the summer with no issues. Which is what makes me suspect the issue is with the projectors.

Not sure what is causing this as more than half of the brand new cars at my dealer, (all parked outside) have at least 1 light with bubbles. Mine didn't start for about 3-4 months but now both have it. I showed dealer and they want to replace but I told them I will wait a little while to make sure Lexus has it fixed first.

I live in good ol' Idaho and it is not the hottest here, so yea it might not be down to climate. Most likely its the same problem, the beam is magnifying still even after the eyelids were put on the lights...

That but there can yet be another thing I noticed during my retrofit of my 2012 lights. The LED check mark is basically made of see through plastic and is painted from the inside. Once the black is cured I noted that the manufacturer then applied a chrome type of paint onto the black to better reflect the LEDs. I have a broken light and I noticed that on that broken light the chrome paint was flaking off which over time could possible damage the black paint in the process.

If anyone would like to see what I mean I can take pictures of that light and show you guys what I mean.

I'm surprised they don't come this way from factory, it doesn't seem to take long for them to start the bubbling from what I've heard.
