Default 2012 Headlamp Has Bubbling Defect Too

The 2012 headlamps were redesigned to address the bubbling/wrinkling concern. However, my replacement 2012 lights from Sewell have the exact same problem after only two months. Apparently Lexus' fix did not work and they'll have to look at further updates. I expect a second TSB to be issued at some point. If your replacement 2012 headlamps have this condition, please notify Lexus so they are aware of the problem.

I was going to attach a photo but it seems the file size is too large.

Thanks for bring it up. Bummer to hear. I haven't gotten my 2011 headlights switched to the 2012 headlights yet. I might hold off then for now until I hear more updates about this but it sounds like you're the first person here so far to discover this.

Maybe this time they will actually change the color of the LEDs to something more similar in temperature to Audi/BMW LEDs.

Yeah man, I agree. I wish it could have been addressed but I suppose it requires materials not readily available. They may have to re engineer them all together.

Does anyone suppose it could be region specific?

There are 4 types of 11-12 LED headlights, are you sure that you've got the newest, newest version of them?

81145-53543 - Headlamp, RH
81185-53543 - Headlamp, LH
OR
81145-53H12 - Headlamp Set, TSB (Set contains 81145-53543 and 81185-53543)

Anyone still having issues, are these the part numbers you received? Do you have pictures showing your lights (they should have the all-gloss inside, no flat/matte black.
